Garrett Fisher – President, Director

Garrett Fisher is the guy flying an old ragtag airplane to the glaciers while taking the photographs. He took his first solo flight in 1997 in Upstate New York in the very aircraft that is the primary ship for European photographing missions, a 1949 Piper PA-11 Cub Special. Prior to shipping it to Europe in 2016, he flew the aircraft to the highest peaks of Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana while documenting the remaining glaciers of the US Rockies. It has since been to the highest peaks of the Pyrenees to witness what a mountain range newly denuded of glaciers looks like as well as to half of the glaciers of the Alps. Aside from his devotion to the glacier cause, he is the Executive Director of the Institute for Economic Innovation and a financial consultant by trade. More information about him can be found at

Doren Spinner, Director

Doren Spinner is the Founder and CEO of Viev Machining, an advanced manufacturing firm focused on the machining of precision components for aerospace and marine customers around the world.  He was previously the CEO of Norfil, also manufacturer of machined components, and the CEO of Acken Signs, a full service sign fabrication and installation company. Doren studied Mechanical Engineering at Brown University, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.  He lives with his wife and two children in the suburbs of Seattle, Washington, and spends most all of his free time kitesurfing up and down the west coast of North America.

Philip Lee, Director

Philip Lee is based in Dublin and is a scientist, entrepreneur, pilot, an experienced business turnaround specialist in the manufacturing and distribution sectors and is a qualified financial accountant with European cross border exposure. He is the author of two aviation books. Philip’s love of aviation and the outdoors began at age four when his father would bring the family to the countryside and perform fly pasts in an Irish Air Corps Spitfire. He has a long standing interest in sustainability and protection of the natural environment. Philip speaks fluent Spanish and has been immersed in its culture for over thirty years.
